Bridge Replacement Project at I-95 in Hampton/Hampton Falls
Replacement of I-95 Bridges Over the Taylor River

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces planned work associated with the I-95 bridge replacement spanning the Taylor River in Hampton/Hampton Falls.

Weather permitting, traffic lanes on I-95 southbound will be shifted easterly into the median after 7 PM on September 12.  The current four lanes from Mile Marker 4.0 to Mile Marker 3.0 need to be relocated temporarily to facilitate construction of the new southbound bridge over the Taylor River.  Access to the Liquor Store will be maintained at all times during their normal business hours.

Motorists traveling through the work zone that night should anticipate lane closures from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM. Uniformed officers and variable message signs will help guide motorists through the work zone.

RS Audley, Inc., of Bow, New Hampshire is the prime contractor for the $11.8 million project, which is scheduled to be completed in May 2018.
