North Hampton Public Officials/Informational Meeting
Culvert Replacement on Walnut Avenue

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation will hold a combined Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting on the proposed replacement of a 72-inch corrugated metal pipe culvert that carries the Winnicut River under Walnut Avenue in North Hampton. This pipe will be replaced with a concrete box culvert, which would require a road closure for up to three weeks to accomplish the work.

This public meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 12, 2016 at 7:00 pm, at the North Hampton Town Hall, 233Atlantic Avenue, in North Hampton, New Hampshire.

The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
