Work Planned on NH Route 1A Bridge Over Hampton River in Hampton-Seabrook
Alternating One-Way Traffic Necessary for Five Hours of Lighting Work on August 8

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces upcoming work is planned on the Hampton River Bridge (Neil R. Underwood Memorial Bridge) that carries NH Route 1A over the Hampton River in Hampton-Seabrook.

The repairs to both navigational and tide gauge lighting will be performed on Monday, August 8, 2016 and will require alternating one-lane traffic. The lane closure is expected to be in place from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. Traffic signs, cones, and flagmen will be used to assist motorists through the work zone. Some delays should be anticipated.
