Traffic Alignment Changes on Route 111 in Windham
Traffic Shifting to New Roadway

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces that on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 traffic on NH Route 111 will be shifted southerly from the existing roadway to the newly constructed NH Route 111 roadway between the I-93 Exit 3 Northbound ramps and the NH Route 111/Range Road intersection.  The Exit 3 northbound off ramp traffic will also be shifted easterly onto a new alignment which includes opening an eastbound slip lane.

The work is scheduled to occur on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 between the hours of 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Lane closures will be utilized to perform this work. Uniformed officers, flaggers, and traffic control devices will be used to assist motorists through the work zone. Minor traffic delays can be anticipated. This work is weather dependent which may cause this work to be delayed until later in the week.

This work is part of the construction of the final northbound I-93 roadway alignment and northbound ramps in the vicinity of Exit 3 and Weigh Station. Weaver Bros. Construction of Bow, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $32.2 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2016.
