Bridge Replacement on US 3/NH 11 Bypass in Gilford

Expected to be opened to traffic on Friday, June 10

Due to inclement weather and unforeseen construction related issues, the anticipated opening of the bridge carrying the US Route 3/NH Route 11 Bypass over NH Route 11A in Gilford has been extended to Friday, June 10, 2016.

Traffic on the US 3/NH 11 Bypass continues to be detoured off and around the bridge project and back onto the highway. Route 11A is closed under the bridge, with traffic detoured around the bridge via a temporary roundabout.

This project makes improvements to a "Red List" that was built in 1965. An estimated 14,000 vehicles cross the bridge daily.
Beck and Bellucci, Inc. of Franklin, New Hampshire is the contractor for the $1.57 million project, which has a final completion date of August 5, 2016
