Night Work on I-93 Between Exit 3 and Exit 4 in Windham-Derry
I-93 Northbound Lane Shift and Temporary Lane Closure

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces night work associated with the construction of Interstate 93 northbound from the weigh station in Windham to one-half mile south of the Exit 4 interchange.

Weather permitting; nighttime construction operations will take place starting on Sunday, June 12 through Tuesday, June 14. The work that occurs during this timeframe will consist of shifting and restriping Interstate 93 northbound into its new temporary configuration and the placement of concrete barrier.

Construction operations will require traffic on Interstate 93 to be reduced to one lane utilizing a lane closure. This work will take place during non-commuter hours, from approximately 8:00 pm to 6:00 am each night. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the $49 million Interstate 93 widening and reconstruction project located between exits 3 and exits 4. The general contractor is R.S. Audley, Inc. of Bow, NH.
