Tree Clearing Begins the Week of June 6 in Londonderry and Manchester

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces the beginning of construction work on the Interstate 93 expansion project from Exit 5 in Londonderry to the I-93/I-293 Split in Manchester. Tree clearing will begin the week of June 6, 2016. This operation is the first step towards constructing the new alignment of I-93 northbound and southbound.

Shoulder closures will be used to allow trucks to enter and leave the work area. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the $46 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project located between Exit 5 in Londonderry and the I-93/I-293 Split in Manchester. The general contractor is Alvin J. Coleman & Son, Inc. from Conway, New Hampshire.
