Traffic Change at US 4 Bridge Project In Canaan
Alternating One-Way Traffic Over Mascoma River

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a planned traffic change at the US Route 4 bridge project over the Mascoma River in Canaan.

Effective Tuesday, April 26, 2016, there will be one-way alternating traffic controlled by temporary signals between South Road and Goose Pond Road.  This traffic pattern will be in place until early October 2016.

The project consists of a complete concrete deck replacement of the bridge as well as additional repairs to the concrete abutments.  Miller Construction of Windsor, Vermont is the contractor for the $1.0 million project, which has a final completion date of October 26, 2016.
