Construction Beginning on Mult-Use Trail Bridge in Keene
Temporary Nighttime Closures on NH Routes 12/101

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces work is scheduled to begin Monday, April 11, 2016 on a new multi-use trail bridge over NH Routes 12/101 in Keene.

Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times during the day and non-work hours. The City of Keene's pedestrian/bike trail will be closed to users within the project limits, with a signed detour re-routing trail users to Keene State College's tails between the main campus and the college's athletic fields.

During the bridge erection, temporary nighttime road closures will be necessary Sunday through Saturday between 11:00 pm and 5:00 am for no more than 20 minute intervals. Detour signing will be in place prior to the temporary night closures on NH Routes 12/101. Short term alternating one-way traffic will also be used when construction work is over or near the highway.

CPM Constructors of Freeport, Maine is the contractor for the $1.5 million project, which has a final completion date of October 28, 2016.
