Upgrades to Intersection of US 3 and NH 25

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a combined Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting has been scheduled in Meredith to discuss proposed improvements to the intersection of US Route 3 and NH Route 25.

The project involves US 3 / NH 25 improvements, beginning approximately 200 feet south of the US 3 / Lake Street intersection and running northerly for about 2000 feet to a point approximately 600 feet north of the US 3 / NH 25 intersection. It will upgrade the existing traffic signals at the US 3 / NH 25 intersection, install a new pedestrian signal on US 3, and improve the existing sidewalk network.

The public meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 14, 2016, at 7:00 PM in the cafeteria at Inter-Lakes High School, 1 Laker Lane, in Meredith, New Hampshire.

The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project. The meeting is also to solicit public input in order to ensure that the project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
