Bridge Replacement Project in Hampton/Hampton Falls
Replacement of I-95 Bridges Over the Taylor River

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces planned work associated with the I-95 bridge replacement spanning the Taylor River in Hampton/Hampton Falls.

Weather permitting, traffic patterns on I-95 northbound will be altered on the night of Thursday, December 3rd. The current four lanes from Mile Marker 3.0 to Mile Marker 4.0 will be temporarily split, with two lanes directed into the median diversion, and two lanes and off-ramp to the NH State Liquor Store remaining in the existing alignment. In approximately two weeks, all four through lanes will then be directed into the median. In approximately four weeks, the off-ramp will be moved into the median diversion. Access to the Liquor Store will be maintained at all times during their normal business hours.

Motorists traveling through the work zone should anticipate periodic lane closures and rolling roadblocks from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am. Uniformed officers and variable message signs will help guide motorists through the work zone.

R.S. Audley, Inc., of Bow, New Hampshire is the prime contractor for the $11.8 million project, which is scheduled to be completed in May 2018.
