Blasting Work to Begin on NH 111 in Windham
Expect Traffic Stops and Minor Delays

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces blasting work is set to begin on NH Route 111 in Windham between Citizens Bank and the I-93 Exit 3 northbound ramps.

This work is scheduled to begin Tuesday, November 17, 2015. Blasting operations will take place between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm each day. Short-term traffic stops (5+/- minutes) for blasting, with minor delays during regular work hours (7:00 am to 4:00pm) can be expected on NH 111.

This work is weather dependent. Message boards, traffic control devices, and uniformed officers will be used along NH 111 to provide advanced information and direct motorists through the work zone.

This work is part of the construction of the final northbound I-93 roadway alignment and northbound ramps in the vicinity of Exit 3. Weaver Bros. Construction of Bow, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $32.2 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2016.
