Stewartstown Combined Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting
Replacement of NH Route 145 Bridge Over Bishop Brook

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a combined Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting has been scheduled in Stewartstown to discuss the bridge replacement on NH 145 over Bishop Brook.

This project will include removal of the entire existing bridge structure and construction of a new bridge. Approximately 500 feet of roadway work will also be reconstructed along the same alignment. Work will be completed with the bridge/road closed for approximately six months. This project may have an effect on historic properties. Owners of properties determined eligible for the National Register of Historic Places that abut the project alternatives may have an opportunity to become consulting parties.

The public meeting is scheduled for Monday November 16, 2015 at 4:30 pm during the regular Selectmen's meeting, in the Community Room at the Stewartstown Town Hall, 888 Washington Street (US Route 3), in West Stewartstown, New Hampshire.

The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project. The meeting is also to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
