Traffic Change at Hooksett Main Street Bridge Project
Reopening to Two-Way Traffic with Daily Lane Closures

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces the scheduled return to two-way traffic at the Main Street Bridge in Hooksett.

Beginning Friday, October 2, 2015 at 4:00 pm, the Main Street Bridge over the Merrimack River, the B&M Railroad, and Riverside Street will be open to two lanes of traffic. During remaining construction work, daily lane closures controlled by flaggers will be utilized during off-peak hours to complete the necessary work. Delays are to be expected during these lane closures.

Construction work in this bridge deck rehabilitation project is scheduled to be completed in October 2015. Beck and Bellucci of Franklin, New Hampshire is the prime contractor for the $1.5 million project.
