New Exit 3 Northbound On-Ramp to Open in Newington
Spaulding Turnpike Traffic Shift on September 11

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces the planned opening of the new Exit 3 northbound on-ramp on the Spaulding Turnpike in Newington will take place on Friday, September 11, 2015.

Weather permitting, a northbound traffic shift between Exit 3 and 4 will shift traffic onto the new northbound on-ramp at Exit 3 from Woodbury Avenue. This change will have a minor impact on traffic on September 11. In the event of rain, the scheduled opening will be move to the following week.

Construction will continue on Woodbury Avenue and at the entrance to the northbound on-ramp at Exit 3. The old northbound bridge over the old Exit 3 ramp will be removed, and the new Woodbury Avenue Bridge will be connected to east side of the Spaulding Turnpike. An early October opening is planned that will allow eastbound traffic to exit to Woodbury Avenue.
