Keene Public Officials/Informational Meeting
New Multi-Use Trail Bridge Along Ashuelot Rail Trail

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a combined Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting has been scheduled in Keene to inform city officials and the public of the planned construction of a new multi-use trail bridge (aka South Bridge) along the Ashuelot Rail Trail over NH Route 12/101.

The public meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26 at 6:00 pm (as part of the Municipal Services, Facilities and Infrastructure Committee meeting), at the Keene City Council Chambers B, 3 Washington Street in Keene, New Hampshire.

The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project. The meeting is also to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
