Gilford Public Officials/Informational Meeting
Box Culvert Replacement on NH Route 11A

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will hold a combined Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting in Gilford to discuss the need to replace an existing 9' x 6' box culvert on NH Route 11A over West Alton Brook in Gilford, just west of the Gilford/Alton Town line.

The project is scheduled for construction in 2016 and may include a road closure during construction. Historical properties may exist within the project area.

This public meeting will scheduled for Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 7:00 pm as part of the regularly scheduled Selectmen's meeting, at the Gilford Town Hall, 47 Cherry Valley Road, in Gilford, New Hampshire.

The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with the latest information regarding the proposed project, and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs and community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, the NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
