I-93 Exit 12 Southbound On-Ramp Closure In Concord
Part of Traffic Control Plan for July 19 NASCAR Race

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces the planned closure of the I-93 southbound on-ramp at Exit 12 in Concord for 12 hours on Sunday, July 19, 2015.

This ramp closure, from 10:30 am to 10:30 pm, will allow for a traffic shift that will utilize the lane introduced at the on-ramp. The southbound traffic shift is necessary for a left lane closure in order for the "borrow a lane" traffic to be diverted back onto I-93 southbound at Grandview Bridge. The borrowed lane for southbound traffic is part of the traffic control plan for the NASCAR race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon.

During the ramp closure, motorists seeking to go south at Exit 12 will be detoured north to Exit 13 where they can reverse direction. Detour signing will be in place to direct motorists.

The complete traffic control plan for the July 19 NASCAR race can be found at:
