Spaulding Turnpike Exit 3 Ramp to Close on July 7
Southbound Left Exit in Newington to Permanently Close

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces plans to permanently close the existing southbound off-ramp at Exit 3 to Woodbury Avenue on the Spaulding Turnpike in Newington on Tuesday, July 7, 2015.

Southbound traffic on the Spaulding Turnpike looking to access Woodbury Avenue will be detoured to the Exit 1 southbound off-ramp, and continue to Woodbury Avenue via Gosling Road. This detour will remain in effect until the new Woodbury Avenue Bridge is opened to traffic in early October.

The northbound on-ramp at Exit 3 will remain open, but will be changing locations to match the final alignment of the roadway.

Southbound traffic on the Spaulding Turnpike will also be relocated west on July 7 to the newly paved southbound lanes under the new Woodbury Avenue Bridge. The relocation will involve some paving and striping work. Some work will require a single lane during the shift and will take place after 7:00 pm.
