Night Lane Closure on I-93 Northbound in Salem
Pavement Marking at New Exit 2 Interchange

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work associated with the construction of the new I-93 Exit 2 Interchange located in Salem.

Weather permitting; pavement marking crews will re-stripe the interstate on the night of Thursday, June 25, 2015. At the conclusion of Thursday night's work, Interstate 93 northbound traffic will be shifted to the newly paved portion of roadway.

Construction operations will require traffic on Interstate 93 northbound to be reduced to one lane utilizing a lane closure. This work will take place during non-commuter hours, from approximately 9:00 pm to 6:00 am. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the $41 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project in the vicinity of Exit 2. The general contractor is George R. Cairns & Sons, Inc. from Windham, New Hampshire.
