Night Traffic Shift at Roundabout Project on US 4 in Lee
Conversion from a Traffic Circle at NH Route 125

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a planned traffic shift is scheduled for the night of Friday, June 5, 2015 as part of the conversion of the Lee Traffic Circle to a roundabout at the intersection of US Route 4 and NH Route 125.

Starting at 7:00 pm on June 5, traffic will be shifted to the new roundabout and approaches from the existing circle to allow for additional construction work. Some traffic delays should be anticipated due to construction of approaches to the new roundabout and striping for the new traffic pattern, which is expected to be in place by Saturday morning (June 6).

This project is converting the existing single lane Lee Traffic Circle to a modern two-lane roundabout. SUR Construction Inc., of Rochester, New Hampshire is the prime contractor for the $2.79 million project, which has a final completion date of September 2015.
