Expect Rolling Roadblocks and Minor Delays

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces blasting work is set to begin on Interstate 93 northbound between mile markers 7.8 and 8.4, north of the weigh station in Windham.

This work is scheduled to begin Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Blasting operations will be between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm daily. Rolling roadblocks with minor delays can be expected on both I-93 the northbound and southbound travel ways.

This work is weather dependent. Message boards and uniformed officers will be used along I-93 to provide advanced information and direct motorists through the work zone.

This work is part of the construction of the final northbound I-93 roadway alignment and northbound ramps in the vicinity of Exit 3. Weaver Bros. Construction of Bow, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $32.2 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2016.
