Evening Blasting Begins on NH 111 at Exit 3 in Windham
Minor Traffic Impacts on NH Route 111

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces the beginning of evening blasting on the north side of Route 111 between Wall Street and 87 Indian Rock Road at Exit 3 in Windham. Blasting in this vicinity is required to take place after normal business hours as an additional safety precaution.

Blasting in this area will take place daily at approximately 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday beginning the week of May 13, 2013. This is in addition to the blasting currently taking place between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. This blasting is required to construct the new alignment of Route 111.

Traffic on NH Route 111 may be temporarily stopped during blasting as a safety precaution, resulting in minor delays.

This project is part of the construction of a new I-93 roadway in the vicinity of Exit 3. R.S. Audley of Bow, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $32 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2016.
