Night Work at Exit 5 of I-93 in Londonderry
Minor I-93 Northbound Traffic Delays

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work associated with the construction of the four new Exit 5 Interstate 93 bridges in Londonderry.

Weather permitting, work to remove portable concrete barrier and pave the northbound off-ramp tie-ins along Interstate 93 will take place on the night of Tuesday, October 23, 2012. This work will occur from approximately 9:00 pm to 3:00 am. It's anticipated that this work will take one night to complete, however additional days may be required. Minor traffic delays can be expected.

This work will require traffic on Interstate 93 northbound to be reduced to one lane utilizing a lane closure. The moved barrier and paving will accommodate a northbound off-ramp traffic switch onto the newly constructed segment of northbound I-93 and ramp. This will enable the construction of the remaining lanes of northbound I-93.

This work is part of the construction of four new I-93 Exit 5 bridges, NH Route 28 reconstruction, and I-93 reconstruction in the Exit 5 area. Severino Trucking. Co., Inc. of Candia, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $37 million project, which is scheduled for completion in June 2014.
