Nighttime Ramp Closures In Effect From October 21 To 23

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces nighttime paving work is planned on the Interstate 89 southbound Exit 17 ramps, beginning Sunday, October 21 and continuing Monday and Tuesday, October 22 and 23. Exit 17 connects to US Route 4.

To complete the paving operations, the ramps will be shut down from 8:00 pm until 6:00 am each night. The southbound on-ramp at Exit 17 will be closed on the night of Sunday, October 21. The southbound off-ramp will be closed on the night of Monday, October 22.

On the night of Tuesday, October 23, both the Exit 17 southbound on and off- ramps will closed by an alternating plan, with the on-ramp closed first, reopened, and followed by the closure of the off-ramp.

This project consists of 3.85 miles of pavement, drainage, guardrail rehabilitation and bridge rehabilitation work on nine bridges on I-89 in Enfield and Lebanon. Pike Industries, of Belmont, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $11.9 million project, which has a final completion date of October 2013.
