Bridge Removal Along NH Route 111 At Exit 3 In Windham
Night Work Should Not Impact I-93 Traffic

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces bridge demolition work along NH Route 111 in Windham to remove portions of the old I-93 southbound bridge will take place during nighttime hours this week.

Traffic on Route 111 near the Exit 3 southbound ramps will be reduced to one lane during the night on the night of Thursday, March 1. A lane closure will be in place between the hours of 9:00 pm. and 5:00 am, and motorists can expect minor delays on Route 111 during this time period. Uniformed officers will be on hand to direct traffic through the area. Traffic on Interstate 93 should not be impacted.

This project is part of the construction of the new I-93 roadway in the vicinity of Exit 3. E.D. Swett of Concord, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $11.5 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2013.
