Bridge Repairs On NH Route 101 Over US 1 In Hampton
Will Require Eastbound Traffic Detour For Two Months

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces bridge repair work is scheduled on the NH Route 101 bridge over US Route 1 southbound in Hampton. This bridge maintenance work beginning March 25 is expected to take two months to complete and will require a short detour of eastbound traffic on NH 101.

During the single lane traffic period, eastbound traffic on Route 101 in Hampton will be directed onto the US Route 1 southbound off-ramp. Signs will direct vehicles back onto Route 101 via Route 1 northbound. Route 1 southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane to allow for eastbound Route 101 traffic to merge onto Route 1.

Motorists driving on NH Route 101 in Hampton during this time period are advised to proceed with caution when traveling through the work zone.
