Three Nights Of Work Beginning Sunday, August 21

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces a temporary lane closure associated with the construction of the new Exit 3 interchange in Windham.

This work will take place at night, from Sunday, August 21 through Tuesday, August 23, 2011. It will require the closure of the high-speed lane on I-93 northbound, from the Exit 3 on ramp to the northbound weigh station. Also, the travel lane will be closed on I-93 southbound, from the southbound weigh station to the Exit 3 off-ramp. These lane closures will take place between the hours of 7:00 pm and 5:00 am each night.

This project is part of the construction of a new I-93 northbound roadway in the vicinity of Exit 3. George R. Cairns & Sons, Inc. of Windham, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $26 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2011.
