About Five Miles Between Exits 5 And 8 Expected To Take Two Weeks

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces night paving work is scheduled to begin on Sunday, August 8, on approximately five miles of the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Nashua.

This pavement grinding and resurfacing work is expected to take about two weeks to complete. It includes the Exit 8 ramps and will require lane and ramp closures. State Police, message boards, barrels and cones will be used to alert motorists and guide them through the work zone. Nightly work hours will be between the hours of 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

This work is part of a larger paving contract on the Central Turnpike. Continental Paving, Inc. of Londonderry, New Hampshire is the contractor for the $1.9 million project.
