Night Work on Spaulding Turnpike Near Exit 6 in Dover
Lane Closures and Shifts on December 4 and 5

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work is planned on the Spaulding Turnpike in Dover south of Exit 6 on Thursday, December 4 and Friday, December 5, 2014.

Repairs to lights on the southbound lanes of the Little Bay Bridge will take place Thursday night. Traffic will be shifted to the high speed lane while the travel lane is closed.

On Friday night, portable concrete barrier will be reset north of the Little Bay Bridge. Both northbound and southbound lane closures will be in effect to complete the work. The southbound closure will be in effect between 7:00 pm and 4:00 am. The northbound lane closure will take place between 8:00 pm and 4:00 am.

State Police will be used to alert motorists to the restricted travel conditions. The work zones will have a reduced speed limit of 40 mph in effect that will be strictly enforced.
