Wentworth Public Informational Meeting
Bypassed Bridge Crossing Baker River

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces a combined Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting has been scheduled to address the immediate public safety concerns with a bypassed historic bridge over Baker River in Wentworth, and the possibility of re-establishing a pedestrian crossing at this location.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at 7:00 pm at the Wentworth Old Town Hall, 10 East Side Road in Wentworth, New Hampshire.

The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project. The meeting is also to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
