I-93 Northbound Traffic Shift At Exit 3 In Windham
Lane Closures And Rolling Roadblocks On 11/19

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces plans to switch northbound traffic on Interstate 93 near Exit 3 in Windham, from the existing northbound alignment to a modified final alignment. The work area is located between mile markers 3.8 and 8.4. This northbound traffic shift will take place on Wednesday, November 19, between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm. Lane closures, rolling roadblocks, and mobile operations will be used to move I-93 northbound traffic through the work zone, resulting in minor delays in the northbound direction. Northbound off-ramp traffic at Exit 3 will be exiting at a new signalized location onto NH 111. The existing Exit 3 northbound on-ramp will continue to be used with some modifications.

work is weather dependent. Thursday, November 20th, is the backup date for this work. Message boards, uniformed officers, and traffic control devices along I-93 will provide advanced information and direct motorists through the work zone.

This work is part of the construction of the final northbound I-93 roadway alignment and northbound ramps in the vicinity of Exit 3. Weaver Bros. Construction of Bow, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $32.2 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2016.
