Night Bridge Work At Exit 5 In Londonderry
Minor I-93 Traffic Delays Over Two Nights

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work associated with the construction of the four new Exit 5 Interstate 93 bridges in Londonderry.

Weather permitting, bridge work on I-93 southbound, northbound, and the Exit 5 on/off ramps, from mile marker 16.0 to 14.0 will take place the night of Monday, October 27, and Tuesday, October 28, 2014. This work will take place during non-commuter hours, from approximately 8:00 pm to 5:00 am. It is anticipated that this work will be completed within the time line above, however additional days may be required. Minor traffic delays can be expected.

This work will require traffic on I-93 southbound and northbound to be reduced to one lane Additionally, the on and off ramps will be reduced to one lane temporarily for construction operations.

This work is part of the construction of four new I-93 Exit 5 bridges, NH Route 28 reconstruction, and I-93 reconstruction in the Exit 5 area. Severino Trucking. Co., Inc. of Candia, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $37 million project.
