Paving Work at Bow-Concord Project on I-93
To Prepare for Winter Traffic Patterns

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces essential work is underway to allow for the suspension of construction operations at the Bow-Concord bridge replacement project for the winter months.

This work, which will continue for the next several weeks, includes pavement milling, paving, pavement markings, guardrail work, and signage on I-93, northbound and southbound; the I-93 northbound ramp to I-89 northbound; and I-89 northbound and southbound from NH Route 3A to Exit 1 (Logging Hill Road).

Motorists should expect some minor delays during off-peak hours during the day and night on both I-93 and I-89, and be alert for traffic signs for possible minor detours.

Much of this work is weather dependent. Traffic during the winter months shall be in the final lane configuration on both I-93 and I-89. Final paving on I-93 won't be completed until the Spring of 2015.

R. S. Audley Construction of Bow, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $14.7 million project, which has a final completion date of June 26, 2015.
