The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work associated with the construction of Interstate 93 northbound in the vicinity of the Exit 2 interchange in Salem.

Weather permitting; construction operations will take place on the night of Tuesday, October 14. This work will involve realigning the roadway striping on Interstate 93 in order to move traffic onto the new northbound on-ramp.

Construction operations will require traffic on Interstate 93 northbound to be reduced to one lane. This work will take place during non-commuter hours, from approximately 9:00 pm to 6:00 am. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the $41 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project in the vicinity of Exit 2. The general contractor is George R. Cairns & Sons, Inc. of Windham, New Hampshire.
