Night Work to Resume at Exit 5 in Londonderry
Minor I-93 Northbound Traffic Delays

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work associated with the construction of the four new Exit 5 Interstate 93 bridges in Londonderry.

Weather permitting, milling and paving the I-93 northbound travel lanes and on/off ramps at Mile Marker 14.0 to 17.0 will begin Thursday night September 4, 2014, and continue on a nightly basis, excluding the weekend, through Saturday morning September 13, 2014. This work will take place during non-commuter hours, from approximately 8:00 pm to 5:00 am. It's anticipated this work will be completed within the scheduled timeframe; however additional days may be required. Minor traffic delays can be expected.

This work will require traffic on I-93 northbound to be reduced to one lane. Additionally, the on and off ramps will be closed temporarily for construction operations. Traffic will be detoured to the next available exit to reverse direction. The milling and paving will mark the completion on I-93 northbound construction for this project.

This work is part of the construction of four new I-93 Exit 5 bridges, NH Route 28 reconstruction, and I-93 reconstruction in the Exit 5 area. Severino Trucking. Co., Inc. of Candia, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $37 million project, which is scheduled for completion in September 2014.
