Nighttime Closure at the Hooksett Rest Area Along I-93
To Allow for Paving Along the Northbound Ramps

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces plans to close access to the northbound rest area in Hooksett on Interstate 93 (F. E. Everett Turnpike). This closure is necessary to allow for paving along the northbound off and on ramps.

The facility, including parking, restrooms and Information Center will be closed to visitors beginning at 2:30 am Wednesday morning (September 3rd) and will reopen at 8:00 am Wednesday morning (September 3). The New Hampshire Liquor and Wine Outlet store hours and operations will not be affected by the overnight closure.

This closure affects only the northbound rest area facility; the southbound rest area facility will maintain its usual hours of operation.

Traffic control barrels will be placed on I-93 along the length of the ramp tapers and a uniformed officer will be located along the northbound off ramp during the closure to prohibit access. A variable message board will be situated along I-93 northbound to the south of the facility noting the overnight closure.
