Two Week Closure Of Spaulding Turnpike Ramp in Newington
Exit 3 Southbound Off-Ramp Closing on September 8

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces the planned two week closure of the Spaulding Turnpike Exit 3 southbound of-ramp in Newington on Monday, September 8, 2014 as part of the Turnpike improvement project.

This ramp closure is necessary to allow for the construction of the mainline traffic lanes and a new temporary Exit 3 southbound off-ramp.

All southbound traffic seeking to use Exit 3 will be directed to use the Exit 1 detour to get to Woodbury Avenue. The ramp closure will remain in effect until the week of September 22.

Message boards will be used to inform motorists in advance of the ramp closure. Signs will also be in place to detour Exit 3 traffic to Exit 1.
