Night Work to Resume at Exit 5 in Londonderry
Minor I-93 Northbound Traffic Delays

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work associated with the construction of the four new Exit 5 Interstate 93 bridges in Londonderry.

Weather permitting, striping and a traffic shift of the I- 93 northbound lanes at mile marker 15.0 to 17.0 will take place on the night of Thursday, August 7, 2014. This work will occur during non-commuter hours, from approximately 8:30 pm to 5:00 am Thursday night into Friday morning. It's anticipated this work will take one night to complete, however additional days may be required. This striping and traffic shift will place traffic in its final northbound configuration. It was originally scheduled for July 31, but was postponed due to weather conditions.

This work will require traffic on I-93 northbound to be reduced to one lane. Minor traffic delays can be expected.

This work is part of the construction of four new I-93 Exit 5 bridges, NH Route 28 reconstruction, and I-93 reconstruction in the Exit 5 area. Severino Trucking. Co., Inc. of Candia, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $37 million project, which is scheduled for completion in August 2014.
