Night Work On Spaulding Turnpike In Newington
Minor I-93 Southbound Traffic Delays

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work associated with the construction of four new Exit 5 Interstate 93 bridges in Londonderry.

Weather permitting, milling and paving on I- 93 southbound lanes from mile marker 14.4 to 14.3 will take place the night of July 11, 2014. This work will occur during non-commuter hours, from approximately 8:00 pm on Friday night to 3:00 am Saturday morning. It's anticipated this work will take one night to complete, although additional days may be required. Minor traffic delays can be expected.

This work will require traffic on I-93 southbound to be reduced to one lane. The milling and paving will accommodate a future southbound traffic switch.

This work is part of the construction of four new I-93 Exit 5 bridges, NH Route 28 reconstruction, and I-93 reconstruction in the Exit 5 area. Severino Trucking. Co., Inc. of Candia, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $37 million project, which is scheduled for completion in August 2014.
