Night Work to Resume at Exit 5 in Londonderry NH
Minor I-93 Southbound Traffic Delays

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work associated with the construction of the four new Exit 5 Interstate 93 bridges in Londonderry.

Weather permitting, milling and paving the right travel shoulder will take place on I-93 southbound the night of Friday, June 20, 2014. This work will occur during non-commuter hours, from approximately 8:00 pm to 3:00 am Friday night into Saturday morning. It is anticipated that this work will take one night to complete, however additional days may be required. Minor traffic delays can be expected.

This work will require traffic on I-93 southbound to be reduced to one lane utilizing a right travel lane closure. The milling and paving will accommodate a future southbound traffic switch.

This work is part of the construction of four new I-93 Exit 5 bridges, NH Route 28 reconstruction, and I-93 reconstruction in the Exit 5 area. Severino Trucking. Co., Inc. of Candia, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $37 million project, which is scheduled for completion in June 2014.
