Night Lane Closure On Pelham Road In Salem
Part Of The I-93 Project In The Vicinity Of Exit 2

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work associated with the construction of Pelham Road in the vicinity of the Exit 2 Interchange in Salem.

Weather permitting; construction operations will take place on the night of Thursday, May 29, and nightly from Sunday, June 1 through Thursday, June 5. The work during this timeframe will consist of excavation, placing of crushed gravel, and paving at the intersection of Pelham Road and the northbound off-ramp at Exit 2.

Construction operations will require traffic on Pelham Road to be reduced to one lane utilizing a lane closure. This work will take place during non-commuter hours, from approximately 7:00 pm to 6:00 am. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the $41 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project in the vicinity of Exit 2. The general contractor is George R. Cairns & Sons, Inc. from Windham, NH.
