Farmington Public Informational Meeting
Safety Improvements on NH Route 11

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces a combined Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 21, 2014 in Farmington to discuss proposed NH 11 corridor safety improvements.

This project begins near the NH 153 intersection and extends east approximately 3,000 feet. It will also install a centerline rumble strip beginning at the east end of the proposed improvements and extending east approximately two miles. Historical properties may exist within the project area.

The April 21 public meeting is set for 7:00 pm at the Farmington Town Hall gymnasium, 531 Main Street, in Farmington, New Hampshire.

The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
