NH Marine Patrol Auxiliary Offers Courtesy Inspections
Members of the New Hampshire Marine Patrol Auxiliary will be performing courtesy boat inspections at various town docks around Lake Winnipesaukee this summer. If you would like to have your boat inspected, auxiliary officers will be available from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm at the following locations.
| Wolfeboro, Back and Town Docks |
July 12 |
| Gilford Town Docks (Glendale) |
July 19 |
| Weirs Beach Public Docks |
Aug 2 |
| Meredith Town Docks |
Aug 9 |
In the event of rain, inspections will be conducted the next day.
Courtesy inspections are a brief examination of your safety equipment including life jackets, lights, fire extinguishers, sound producing devices, and other safety related materials. This is a free inspection and without consequence if something is missing or defective. Successful inspections will result in the issuance of the 2008 Marine Patrol inspection decal. The auxiliary officers can also provide you with information on laws, rules, education requirements, and general boating safety practices.
