St. Patrick's Day Holiday Weekend Traffic Safety

Colonel Quinn, along with the women and men of the New Hampshire State Police would like to wish all of you a Happy and Safe St. Patrick's Day weekend.

Although this holiday is commonly associated with the consumption of alcohol, we would like to remind everyone to never mix drinking alcohol with driving a motor vehicle. Your judgment is the first thing to be altered after consuming alcohol; therefore, have a plan to arrive alive BEFORE you begin drinking.

Please, plan ahead:

Chose your designated driver before consuming any alcohol…whether it be a friend, your local 'safe ride' program, or public transportation…have a plan.

Our Troopers are committed to ensuring safe travel throughout the state and will continue our efforts to reduce collisions during this upcoming holiday weekend. We will be out on the roadways and highly visible. Our Troopers will be proactive in patroling and enforcing the motor vehicle laws in an effort to deter illegal activities and keep all of those on the roadways safe.
