“Looking Beyond the Traffic Ticket” Awards

The “Looking Beyond the Traffic Ticket” Awards Ceremony was held on May 21, 2008 at the Beacon Resort in Lincoln.  The event honored officers who took the time to look beyond the obvious to find criminal and drug activity during motor vehicle stops.  Award recipients were selected by a committee that included Department of Safety Assistant Commissioner Earl Sweeney, Rochester Police Chief David Dubois, Epping Police Chief Gregory Dodge and Police Standards and Training Council Major Robert Stafford. In total, 47 honorees received the awards.
