Advances in technology provide the present day New Hampshire State Trooper with many advantages not available to our predecessors. NHSP was the first agency to put the Project54 equipped cruiser on the road for everyday use in 2001. This system, developed by the University of New Hampshire, allows for hands-free and eyes-free operation of in-car devices.
This site describes the New Hampshire Department of Transportation project of widening a 20 mile segment of I-93 between Exits 1 and 5 from the Massachusetts Stateline to Manchester, NH. The overall goal of this project is to make the I-93 corridor safer and to improve mobility.
