Mission Statement Dedicated to providing the highest degree of law enforcement service throughout the State of New Hampshire while maintaining the traditions of fairness, professionalism and integrity.

The Division Director, with the rank of Colonel, oversees enforcement of criminal, motor vehicle, and other public safety laws such as the issuance of nonresident pistol permits and the regulation of detective agencies and security services as governed by law.

The term of the office of Director runs through March 2010.
