CONCORD, NH – The 30-day deadlines are approaching for municipalities, school districts and certain non-profit organizations to apply for Public Assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency for damage that occurred as a result of this summer’s tornado.

Public Assistance is aid for damage to public infrastructure, such as roads and public buildings. To be eligible, damage must have occurred on July 24, the date of the tornado.

Potential applicants must submit a "Request for Public Assistance" form to FEMA, via the NH Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management by the deadline for their county.
