  NIMS Update:
DHS sponsored NIMCAST tool continues to be unavailable with no scheduled date of operation, which we have only recently learned, at the State level. In an effort to meet the 2013 Grant requirement for NIMS compliance, please: 1) Review and submit your agency NIMS training records 2) If your records have gaps in information, you may contact Capt. Robert Pragoff at the NH Fire Academy and EMS Bureau and ask for specific staff to be reviewed for this compliance. Contact Capt. Pragoff NO LATER THAN December 10, 2013 to allow time to meet grant submission deadline of December 13, 2013. The NH FA & EMS WILL NOT SUBMIT NIMS information on behalf of an applicant to GMU.

On November 4, 2013, the US Department of Homeland Security issued IB #392 which states that "The Authorized Equipment List (AEL), published by the FEMA Grant Programs Directorate, is now on the Responder Knowledge Base (RKB) section of the FEMA Lessons Learned Information Sharing (LLIS.gov) Website at https://www.llis.dhs.gov/knowledgebase." If you click on the PDF link, you can manually search for items.
